Orleans at Fenway Park, July 28 ’06

Orleans at Fenway

On Friday, July 28th of 2006, Orleans had the great privilege and honor of performing our National Anthem at Fenway Park, Boston. The Red Sox took on the Angels. It was “root, root, root for the home team” but, alas, they did not win (“it’s a shame”). Still this event remains one of the most unique and memorable experiences in the history of Orleans‘ travels.

There are TWO video versions capturing this moment. The first is footage from New England Sports Network, tweaked by our audio/video partner, John Marsden (www.johnmarsdenproductions.com). The second is a hand-held camera manned by our friend, John Higgins.

Donning Orleans jerseys created especially for this event, our team takes the field to deliver the Anthem prior to the game, then settles in to enjoy America’s favorite pastime … Major League Baseball!
