"RPM" is "Rock & Pop Masters"
"The Original Lead Singers - The Original Hits"
100% 70s and 80s Megahits … done by the singers who made them classics, all backed by one knockout band.
The roster of artists who may appear on any given RPM show includes Larry Hoppen (Orleans), Jimi Jamison, Joe Lynn Turner (Deep Purple, Rainbow), John Cafferty (Beaver Brown Band), Ronnie Hammond (Atlanta Rhythm Section), Dave Jenkins (Pablo Cruise), Joey Molland (Badfinger), Edgar Winter, Rick Derringer, Robbie Dupree, Peter Rivera (Rare Earth), David Pack (Ambrosia), John Ford Coley and newest addition Felix Cavaliere (The Rascals)… and that’s not all, with more artists joining the RPM bullpen all the time! As founder and Musical Director of RPM, Larry Hoppen has been nurturing this project for the past decade. In partnership with manager Andy Broady for the past few years, they have built RPM into a force to be reckoned with. The ever-growing schedule of live dates, mostly Corporate and Community-sponsored events, included this recent performance at Kennedy Space Center.

Part of what made this event so special was the surreal nature of the setting. To celebrate it’s 50th year (1957 -2007), The Kennedy Space Center @ Cape Canaveral, FL held a series of events in the Visitor’s Complex “Rocket Garden“. This show was the last in that series. As you can see, by day or by night, the place is unique and fantastic … a legacy to those who pioneered and sacrificed for the US Space Program.
