Description
In the 1990s, Larry’s humanitarian heart led him to create Sunshine for HIV Kids … a non-profit for the purpose of raising funds to send HIV-positive kids to summer camps. Larry would also give of his time by visiting the camps and playing solo concerts for the kids there.
In conjunction with those efforts, he embarked on this solo album project with the intention that it would be used as a fundraising tool.
He enlisted Woodstock neighbors David Sancious (Springsteen, Sting, etc.) as Producer and keyboardist, Tony Levin (Peter Gabriel, Paul Simon, etc) as bassist and Terry Silverlight (Billy Ocean, George Benson, etc) on drums.
Additionally, a large cast of background singers included the late, great Cornelius Bumpus, Billy Squier, Michelle Mailhot (Toxic Audio), Beth Schafer and Orleans bandmates Bob Leinbach and Lance Hoppen and others. Jim Campagnola contributed on sax.

Sunshine for HIV Kids is no more,
but the music lives on in this unique collection.
Also available as part of Larry’s 3-CD solo albums set at a 20% discount.
Although this title is long out of print, we have perfected the art of producing high-quality CDRs from the original WAV audio files, complete with much of the original artwork. If not for the CD stick-on label, it would be hard to tell the difference between these and mass-manufactured CDs. How ’bout you let us make one for you?
All net proceeds benefit Larry’s daughters, Maeve and Cla
